Cost of Living Index

One of the significant key factors that impact compensation of employees (“assignees”) working in foreign assignment locations is the cost of living differential on spendable income to be spent at the foreign location.

To lessen the impact, a Cost of Living Allowance (”COLA”) is generally provided to allow the assignee to maintain the same standard of living as experienced in his/her home country.

Based on information available through our international network, we can determine the appropriate Cost of Living Index (“COL Index”) for determining the COLA for each assignment location.
