The Conduct of the Study

Proper benchmarking – Jobs will be accurately measured using the Point Factor Method that is universally accepted. ICC Consultants working together with HR Personnel will facilitate an evaluation panel consisting of senior management in determining the core positions’ job size.

Capability Assessment – ICC Consultants will assist in determining the capability of incumbents (which is a measure of several factors i.e. performance records, capability, motivation and indication of potential).

Confidentiality – all specific information during the course of this study will be kept strictly confidential.

ICC Consultants will produce a decision making report for the participating company based on the study findings. Consultants will subsequently be available to facilitate decision making at the management and board level where required.

Duration

It is estimated that this study will take approximately 6 weeks for completion to enable data collection, job evaluation of core positions, capability evaluation of job holders, compensation analysis and preparation of decision making report on compensation practice.

 

Cost

The cost of participating in this special focused study will be RM3,800. All invoices will carry a 5% government service tax. ICC does not charge out to clients expenses such as telephone calls, faxes, stationery and local travel. We do not expect any out station travel in this study.
