Board Effectiveness
The key role of the Board is to ensure that proper leadership is in place and to ensure that there is strong motivation for high performance contributing to the mission of the organization.
In this regard, the Board of Directors ensures the proper implementation of the principles, processes and procedures for selection, appointment, appraisal and termination of the following key personnel:
- Board Directors
- Board Committee members
- Managing Director
- General Managers
The determination of concepts, principles, processes and procedures contained herein are subject to the company’s bye-laws, relevant Acts, regulatory guidelines and the Code on Corporate Governance.
This discussion of relevant concepts, and principles is intended to foster better practice of an area of management which has became a science only recently.
