The Approach
The instruments used by ICC to conduct the Motive Profile assessment are not the traditional questionnaires where the respondent can choose to write what he/she thinks is required rather than what he/she will do. Hence the reliability of such instruments is very low - at most 10% to 15% only.
ICC’s approach is based on the theory that people will do what they have done in the past and research has proven this. There is also clear research evidence that what respondents answer in questionnaires is not necessarily what they will do in real life.
